3 weeks agoThis place was fantastic. We went with a group of 10, and they were able to get us a spot by calling ahead. Amanda was our server and she was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, helpful and sweet- especially to the 4 little kids in our party. They had WikiStix for the kids to play with which kept them so happy. Kiera had great recommendations for drinks, and the whole place was a great vibe. The food was delicious on top of it all!

8 months agoStopped here for a pint, didn’t disappoint. Extensive craft draft list with some unique offerings. On the pricier side, so with tax the average pint will be around $10. Big open and airy space when the weather is nice. Staff are young locals, place can get pretty busy, food looked good but didn’t eat.

4 months agoWe have been coming here since probably 2019. Their food has always been great, Albeit inconsistent depending on the day. Weekends were usually more spot on while Mondays and Tuesdays could leave more to be desired. Has the newly revised seafood stew which was great. Lot of shrimp, clams, and I believe snapper. Great flavor. Our appetizer was the calamari and shishito peppers. The calamari chunks were the thickest I've ever had. Great flavor. I think our plate only had maybe 4 shishito peppers and was primarily calamari.

4 months agoIt's a sports bar and grill. Delicious food! The windows are like raised garage doors. Live sports viewing for your avid sports fan while you eat. Only one table for normal height seating; rest is counter/ bar seating with stools around high tables (a little challenging for kids or small adults to maneuver around a high dining table), but hey, it's a sports bar right? Salads are fab!... and the devil eggs? Get a dozen of more! Yum!

9 months agoTruly fantastic Korean Beef Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Short Rib French Dip sandwiches! They offer an amazing array of creative, delicious dishes made with high quality ingredients. The Caesar Salad is superb and not just an afterthought like many places. Compliments to the chef! The service is very good, and there is an excellent range of beer types on tap. Updated: I can't get enough of this place with its excellent, unique, and creative food along with great service. The short rib French dip sandwich has super tender and tasty thin beef slices on a fresh soft roll. The calamari is served in a fish stick style with fun toppings and two delicious dips. The brussel sprouts are as good as they get, roasted and covered with an array of goodies including onion strings, blue cheese, dried cherries, and candied pecans.

5 months agoA great place to eat, drink and catch-up. The menu would be my favourite and somewhat unique to this style of establishment. In our party we wanted a light dinner, a pretzel and Japanese. Unbelievably, Local Tap House had options for all 3. And more importantly, great options. We sat outside under the heater and were well looked after. We weren't forgotten, as can sometimes happen elsewhere with only a few people outside. The food was served promptly and thoroughly enjoyed. There was also a good beer selection, although we only sampled 2. Easy access and parking next door. 🥨🥗🐟🍻

2 months agoFood: phenomenal food! We got one of the burgers, the chicken sandwich, the chicken pot pie, and the Brussels sprouts to share. Big shout out to the Brussels sprouts, those suckers were tasty! also the chicken pot pie looked and tasty amazing. They make their dough in house, and you can tell when you bite into it! Service: it took us 15-20 mins to be seated and then another 15 mins for our server to even come to the table. That said, she was friendly, fast, efficient, and gave great recommendations. It was a busy night and maybe they were understaffed? Not a huge deal. Atmosphere: fun vibe with a bar and great decor. Lighting is pretty dark, but adds to the ambiance. Great place for a night out with friends or a date for great food and drinks.

month agoFantastic local gem of a spot with unique twists on dishes. Service was great and prompt with Paula and the accompanying team. Quite a variety on the menu, but only specific quality dishes in varying categories. We enjoyed two different sushi rolls which were tasty and fresh. One in my party enjoyed the Short Rib French Dip and she stated it was the best of the 5-day trip. My wife enjoyed her Dirty Bird chicken sandwich and said it was good and very filling. The Hot Honey Tacos on the shareable section of the menu were good, and the mildly spicy fried peppers and hot honey fried calimari was very good and flavorful. Good beverage menu with local brews and cocktails, and refreshing non-alcobolic beverages as well. Indoor and outdoor seating available. It's streetside, and can also get busy, so try to aim for an off or mid-week arrival if you prefer less "atmosphere". Parking is limited out front, but available during my visit, and some streetside is also present. Nice music to enjoy during the visit as well that my ladies were enjoying. Definitely worth a stop for tasty and ample food of quality, and ot the standard faire.
